Personal Injury Plaintiff Only Litigation and Transactional Real Estate since 1990. Handling claims for those injured by the negligence of another person, corporation, landlord, manufacturer. Most recent verdicts/settlement: $2,625,000 mediated settlement for client with traumatic brain injury and orthopedic injuries caused by a commercial truck on the highway. Verdict- $3,910,000.00, for a client whose stopped car was struck broadside. A former RN, she could not return to work, due to Traumatic Brain Injury, numerous orthopedic and internal organ injuries; $195,000 for 13 year old injured at trampoline park due to overcrowding;$1,100,000 total recovery for pedestrian hit by car that fled the scene; Settlement- $2,500,000 for retired couple struck from behind by a Tractor Trailer from Quebec, Canada, causing dramatic injuries and altering all plans in retirement. Other typical claims involve children injured by defective products, those with traumatic brain and other organ injuries, personal injuries, wrongful death, contract and employment disputes, and other claims where someone has been victimized. I handle cases in Connecticut State and Federal Courts I am currently representing clients who were killed in automobile and/or truck accidents, injured by defective products, including bicycles, medical devices, and vehicles (airbags), as well as injuries caused by dangerous properties, unsafe workplaces and other areas where injuries or death occurs as a result of someone's negligence or carelessness. In the employment sector I am representing multiple parties in claims for failure to pay significant commissions and overtime, which can trigger punitive damages. I am also writing blog articles on issues relating to child safety, children's injuries and other aspects of civil law that relate to children's rights. I also represent clients in their real estate transactions: purchase/sale/refinance of residential and commercial properties, with transactions in the last year ranging in price from $400,000 to over $5,000,000.00.
