About Lucas Strunk
In law school I had the opportunity to hear Bill Davis, a well respected trial attorney, speak on practicing law. One comment among many has always remained with me during my years of practice. He noted that preparation and knowing the facts of your case will always benefit an attorney in any forum of litigation or negotiation. In essence, he suggested that the energy that you expend learning your case will always be worth the effort. I have always supplemented that effort with a good working knowledge of the Connecticut case law and the Connecticut workers' compensation statutes. These principles have served me well in the various compensation forums and the appellate proceedings that flow therefrom. My practice has focused on defense of workers' compensation claims for employers, insurers, and third party administrators. I am a certified specialist in workers' compensation as established by the Connecticut Bar Association. In joining my partners, Jason Dodge, Rick Aiken and Anne Zovas, we have sought to establish a respected, responsible, and responsive workers’ compensation defense practice. In doing so, the attorneys at our firm have become active participants in all aspects of workers’ compensation practice.
