Attorney in private practice: • Representing corporate and individual plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts, primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, general civil litigation, white collar and general criminal defense, tax litigation, including tax assessment appeals, probate litigation and landlord/tenant litigation, and briefing and arguing appeals before the Connecticut Appellate Court and Supreme Court and the U. S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. •Advising clients on a full spectrum of corporate and business law issues, including commercial leasing and other transactions, forming corporations and limited liability companies, buying and selling businesses and preparing and negotiating contracts. •Providing securities law services, including representation of both public customers and registered representatives in arbitrations and representation of registered representatives and member firms in disciplinary proceedings before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA). •Handling a wide variety of issues involving such diverse fields as state and federal administrative law, labor and employment law, zoning law and military law. •Preparing wills and living wills.
