I currently advise TCLG’s clients on campaign finance law compliance, as well as other areas of political and government relations law. I also support municipal needs by offering services such as open meeting law training and representing both municipalities and clients appearing before various public bodies. I worked for Arizona's Solicitor General representing the Citizens Clean Elections Commission, the Secretary of State, and the Independent Redistricting Commission. I also represented the state in other election law matters. While at Perkins Coie, my practice focused on political law and commercial litigation. In addition to representing clients before the Citizens Clean Elections Commission, I provided compliance advice to candidates and political organizations with regard to campaign finance and election law. My commercial litigation practice focused on construction law. Before becoming an attorney, I supervised the operations of Oyster Creek Nuclear Generator Station and two United States Navy nuclear reactors. In that capacity, I ensured compliance with state and federal environmental regulations. While serving as USS Billfish's Chemical and Radiological Controls Assistant, I was responsible for transferring and disposing of radioactive material and maintaining the plant's chemistry. Environmental compliance was also a part of the training I provided to operators and engineers at Nine Mile Point Nuclear Generating Station.
