About Jacob Hippensteel
I'm an Arizona attorney who represents employees and consumers against banks, credit bureaus, and employers that don't play fair. I also serve as outside general counsel for business owners navigating disputes, governance issues, or difficult operational decisions. At Hippensteel Law Firm, I focus on three areas. Employment law for Arizona employees facing wrongful termination, discrimination, or retaliation. FCRA litigation for consumers nationwide dealing with credit report errors that the bureaus won't fix. And strategic legal counsel for business owners who need a lawyer who understands how businesses actually run. Before starting my own firm, I spent nearly a decade at a consumer rights firm where I supervised all litigation, personally handled complex cases, and helped build systems that allowed us to represent thousands of clients effectively without sacrificing quality. I litigated hundreds of federal cases nationwide against major financial institutions and credit bureaus. During that time, I was also part of the operations management team, which means I've sat in the same seat as the business owners I now represent. Hiring, firing, compensation design, workflow systems, and the daily decisions that keep a company running. I earned my J.D. from Whittier Law School, graduating with honors and receiving awards in Business Associations, Business Transactions, and Evidence. I competed nationally in trial advocacy and negotiation. Before law school, I studied Business Administration at Grand Canyon University, where I was a four-year captain of the men's lacrosse team.
