About Lisa Counters
Don't let Lisa's diminuitive height and fair features fool you, it is the fiery Irish side that will leave an impression. At 13, Lisa knew that being a lawyer was what she needed to do. Lisa's path to law school was certain, if not always direct. In addition to working in the family business, Lisa took a part-time job at a horse racetrack in college, that led to providing operations and computer consulting to some of the premier racing facilities throughout North America. In fact, Lisa was at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club when she learned she had been admitted to law school. For nearly 20 years, Lisa has continued to represent consumers against insurance companies. She is also one of the few attorneys in Arizona that represent employees in ERISA (employer provided insurance) benefit litigation matters. Between 2009-2012, Lisa served as in-house counsel for a medical provider, helping patients obtain payment and reimbursement for emergency medical services. Her firm also represents individuals in catastrophic personal injury matters, general litigation matters, and family court cases.
