I handle personal injury and medical malpractice cases in Connecticut and New York. I also serve as an expert witness in insurance litigation. For the first 20 years of practicing law, insurance companies and hospitals retained me to defend doctors, hospitals and other individuals and businesses they insured. That experience gave me an insight into insurance companies that other lawyers lack. Since 2000 my practice has been devoted to representing individuals injured or killed by negligence, medical malpractice, dangerous drugs, and defective products. I handle routine and complex cases in State and Federal Court including medical negligence, highway collisions, trucking accidents, unsafe premises, construction accidents, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death. Knowing how insurance companies work is a great asset for my clients and has enabled me to recover millions of dollars for my clients both at trial and by settlement.
