About Diego Peña
Mr. Peña is a full time labor & employment Arbitrator. He is a member of the National Academy of Arbitrators, and is listed on the FMCS and AAA labor & employment panels. He also serves as an independent hearing examiner for disputes involving educators, police officers and firefighters. He also serves as a Mediator in labor & employment and school/education disputes. Mr. Peña serves as an Arbitrator on the Labor, Employment and Commercial Panels for the American Arbitration Association (AAA), a Labor Arbitrator for the Federal Mediation & Conciliation Service (FMCS) and the National Mediation Board, a Public Arbitrator for FINRA and an Independent Hearing Examiner for the Texas Education Agency. He serves as an arbitrator and Independent Hearing Examiner for the following: Southwest Airlines and Transportation Workers Union Local 555 City of Houston and Houston Police Officers' Union Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and the Bexar County Sheriffs’ Deputies Association (San Antonio, Texas) Dallas Area Rapid Transit Authority and Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1338 Fort Worth MHMR Pepsico Mr. Peña’s arbitration philosophy is very straightforward. Having tried cases and disputes before some of the best state and federal judges and arbitrators, Mr. Peña has learned to manage arbitration hearings fairly and efficiently. As a labor and employment arbitrator, Mr. Peña fully understands the positions of the employee and the employer. He is well respected by employer/management attorneys and employee/union attorneys (references available upon request).
