Workers’ Compensation Litigation Attorney, Copperpoint Mutual Insurance CompaniesI Provide legal representation on behalf of Copperpoint and its’ policyholders in workers’ compensation proceedings before the Industrial Commission of Arizona and Arizona appellate courts. I Provide case management legal advice and assistance primarily to Copperpoint claims adjusters and other Copperpoint teams on issues relating to workers’ compensation law and procedures. November 2006 to present. Previously I worked at the Law Offices of the Pima County Public Defender, Felony Division, Tucson, ArizonaI represented, defended, advised and counsel indigent persons in criminal hearings and trials. As first chair for numerous jury and bench trials, I was solely responsible for developing defense theories. I researched, wrote, and argued pretrial and evidentiary motions. Conducted witness interviews and preparation, including that of law enforcement, expert and lay witnesses. 1999-2006.
