James advises and counsels real estate developers, owners, and investors in all aspects of acquiring, financing, developing, leasing, and disposing of various types of real property, including unimproved land, hotels, apartment projects, office buildings, shopping centers, industrial office/warehouse buildings, medical facilities (such as office surgery centers, urgent care clinics, and medical office buildings), residential subdivisions, and mixed-use development projects. He also has experience with various types of business transactions including equipment leases, equipment service agreements, and service provider agreements. James also advises and counsels principals and other participants in a wide variety of corporate and business transactions including formations, acquisitions, and dispositions. His representation consists of counseling clients in general corporate and commercial matters including shareholder agreements, limited liability company agreements, buy-sell agreements, consulting agreements, distribution agreements, covenants not to compete, and confidentiality agreements.
