About David Golder
I am a principal in the Hartford office of Jackson Lewis. My legal practice involves all aspects of employment litigation. I specialize in class-based, multi-plaintiff, and multi-district wage and hour class and collective actions. I have successfully defended management before federal and state courts and administrative agencies in defense of complaints for wage-and-hour violations, wrongful termination, age, race, gender, and national origin discrimination, sexual harassment, and retaliation. I also provide clients with practical advice on a wide range of day-to-day labor and employment law issues, including establishing effective human-resource policies and complying with federal and state laws, such as those relating to wage-and-hour issues, disability and family/medical leave laws, and the discipline and termination processes. Specialties: Wage and hour class and collective action litigation. I am co-author of the comprehensive legal treatise, Labor and Employment Law: Compliance and Litigation, 3rd ed.
