About David Watkins
David Watkins was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He has practiced law continuously with the Firm of Jenkins & Watkins, a Professional Corporation since licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas in August of 1970. Following the death of Joseph A. Jenkins in 1975, he has continued to practice law under the name of Jenkins & Watkins, A Professional Corporation. David is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Texas and the Fifth Circuit, Ninth Circuit and Eleventh Circuit Courts of Appeals. He is also licensed to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas. He is a Member of the College of the State Bar of Texas and a Member of the Labor and Employment Law and Litigation Sections of the State Bar of Texas. David is also Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law, Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He has also been admitted Pro Hac Vice in Federal courts for significant employment cases in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Indiana and Illinois.
