About Douglas Turek
After practicing law in a downtown Houston law firm for more than 7 years, I joined a healthcare services company and started my own law firm. Since 2001, I have focused on helping hospitals with their collection efforts from health and automobile insurance companies, as well as from governmental payers. These efforts have included extensive experience with third party liability accounts, third pary eligibility accounts, account follow-up, appeal of denied claims from all payers, and helping obtain governmental assistance for unfunded patients. I have served in capacities ranging from Vice President of Operations to Chief Operating Officer. I am currently the sole Shareholder of The Turek Law Firm, PC which assists hospitals, physicians and healthcare providers with their legal needs. My firm also provides legal services to business that need employment related and transaction (M&A) related legal services.
