About Marilee Brown
Marilee is the owner of Hazel Brown Law Firm, PLLC. She led all aspects of legal proceedings related to felony and misdemeanor charges. In addition, she was the county’s principal juvenile attorney in cases ranging from class B misdemeanors to first degree felonies. She holds a law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.Marilee has argued cases before the Sixth Court of Appeals, including a nationally debated case in which her prosecution was argued and upheld at the Texas Supreme Court. In her appellate practice she has also represented clients before the Third and Thirteenth Courts of Appeal in Texas. Her writings on DWI law and evidence have been published in the Texas District and County Attorneys Association magazine. Her writings on business torts have been published in the Texas State Bar's Business Litigation Journal. She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar College and the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and the Comal County Bar Association.- Licensed by the Supreme Court of Texas since 2004.- Licenced in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas since 2011.-Member, College of the State Bar of Texas-President of the Comal County Bar Association
