About Phillip Sapien
I have been a practicing attorney for almost 32 years. During that time, I have participated as lead or co-counsel in approximately 120 jury trials and thousands of bench trials and other hearings. In 2005, my brother Joseph and I formed Sapien Law LLC. We handle a variety of cases in both the Civil and Criminal areas of law. Many of our cases involve complex litigation. We have associated with the National Firm of Marler Clark from the state of Washington in a handful of food borne illness cases here in New Mexico. We are or have been local counsel in voter civil rights cases with LULAC and MALDEF. Our firm philosophy and goal is to represent folks that need the assistance of a lawyer, whether it is someone injured on the job or by the negligence of someone else or someone who has been accused of a crime in Federal or State Court. I am actively involved in my community, coaching youth sports, umpiring youth baseball and I have served on various community organization boards.
