Emily Hays

I am an attorney with 15 years experience in complex divorce, collaborative law, trusts and estates, elder law, mediation and arbitration. My passion is helping clients who are in one of the hardest phases of their life to understand their options and reach resolutions that are best for their family as a whole. I believe that most families are best served by finding out-of-court solutions so that they are in control of their own future. I bring my exceptional skills in interest based negotiation, arbitration, and collaborative law to help clients design their own future. I am also passionate about spreadsheets (and embrace the nerd title proudly). One of my happiest days in the office is diving into a case with complex financials, businesses, property, and and assets and bringing it into clarity and focus. When I can take that complex information and distill it into a form that my client and other professionals can understand I know that I have used my skills to help my client. When not representing clients, I am passionate about training professionals and judges in collaborative law, complex divorce financial analysis, and neurodivergent families.
