About Rachel Moore
Rachel J. Moore, a partner, practices in the firm’s Bankruptcy and Litigation Group. A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama, Moore received her law degree, magna cum laude, from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University. While in law school, she was a member of the Cumberland Law Review and she was also a Cordell Hull Teaching Fellow.After graduation, Moore was selected for membership in Curia Honoris. She is admitted to the Alabama State Bar, the United States District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Alabama, and the United States Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit. She is a member of the American Bar Association (Litigation and Construction Sections), the Birmingham Bar Association (Women’s and Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation sections).She is a frequent lecturer at seminars on topics related to commercial and construction litigation, lien and bond issues and collection of judgments. Moore enjoys reading, swimming, and sewing. She and her husband, Andrew, have two children, Sara Kayla and William Blakely, and one grandchild, Emery Grae.
