About Yawanna McDonald
Yawanna practice focuses on areas of business litigation, trust and estate litigation, and other general litigation matters representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Yawanna received her Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from Samford University, Cumberland School of Law, where she served as a Senior Associate Editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy. Additionally, while at Cumberland, Yawanna received Scholar of Merit Awards for Lawyering and Legal Reasoning (LLR) and Federal Tax I, and the award for the Best Appellate Brief. Prior to law school, Yawanna worked as an environmental consultant where she focused on aiding her clients in achieving environmental compliance. Mrs. McDonald is active in her community and serves as an active volunteer with the Girl Scouts of North Central Alabama where she serves as a troop leader.
