I litigate labor and employment cases and counsel clients on labor and employment law compliance issues. I have successfully defended clients in a variety of actions, involving allegations of discrimination, retaliation, harassment, and failure to accommodate. In addition to my experience in employment discrimination litigation, I have also successfully represented clients in non-competition and trade secret litigation in a variety of forums. I have prepared viable restrictive covenants for companies, and I have drafted numerous employment and severance agreements for C-level executives and other employees. I regularly assist clients with harassment investigations, wage and hour compliance reviews, reductions in force, employee handbook reviews, ADA reasonable accommodation issues, compliance with state and federal leave laws, implementation of pre-dispute arbitration programs, and affirmative action issues. I am experienced in traditional labor issues, such as union election campaigns, strikes and picketing, and negotiation of collective bargaining agreements. I have successfully handled numerous labor arbitrations involving a variety of issues. I am also particularly experienced in several niche practice areas. I frequently counsel clients on Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) compliance, both inside and outside of the employment context. I also counsel clients on e-mail and electronic communications management/retention issues.
