I am a partner in Mayer Brown's Employment & Benefits Practice Group. I counsel clients regarding employee benefits and executive compensation issues that arise in corporate transactions involving public and private companies. I advise public and private companies on day-to-day executive compensation matters, including assisting clients with implementing, amending and terminating equity compensation plans and agreements, employment and severance agreements, and nonqualified deferred compensation plans, and advising on the application of Code Sections 409A, 162(m), and 280G. I also counsel clients on a variety of regulatory matters with a particular focus on health and welfare plans, including compliance with the Affordable Care Act, COBRA and HIPAA. Attorney Advertising
