About Amy Zdravecky

Amy J. Zdravecky is a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group at Barnes & Thornburg, LLP. Amy represents employers throughout the United States in traditional labor relations and employment law matters, with an emphasis on National Labor Relations Board proceedings, union organizing drives and NLRB-conducted elections, arbitration cases, contract negotiations, and employment discrimination matters. Amy also frequently provides training and counseling to clients regarding positive employee relations, union avoidance, sexual harassment and compliance with a variety of employment-related statutes, including Title VII, the ADEA, the ADA, the FMLA and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Amy regularly makes presentations on a variety of employment law issues, both to employers directly and to large groups in seminar settings. Topics include, "Remaining Union-Free in 2009 and Beyond," "Strategies for Making Unions Unnecessary," "How to Win Every NLRB Conducted Election," and "Dealing With Your Union With Confidence." Amy also teaches Block I for the Institute of Applied Management and Law’s course, “The Certificate in Employee Relations Law.” Amy was a contributing editor to the 2007-2017, and 2013-2014 Supplements to the Developing Labor Law and to the Sixth Edition. She was also a contributing editor to the ABA’s The Labor Lawyer, Summer 2006 edition, with her article, “Quietflex Manufacturing and its Ten-Factor Balancing Act for Determining How Long a Protected Concerted Work Stoppage Can Continue on the Employer’s Premises,” appearing on page 69 of that edition. She was also a contributing editor to the ABA Journal of Labor and Employment Law, Spring 2014 edition, with the article she co-authored, "On the Border: the NLRB's Entry into Immigration Issues."
