I defend employers against allegations of discrimination, failure to provide reasonable accommodation, sexual harassment, wrongful termination, and Equal Pay and Family and Medical Leave Act violations before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, numerous state agencies and in state and federal court. I also advise employers on all aspects of employment law and strategies for avoiding litigation, and have assisted employers with drafting employee handbooks and employment-related policies. I have negotiated numerous settlements and have handled many mediations before the EEOC and state administrative agencies. I also defend property managers and property management companies in housing discrimination cases before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and various state agencies, and have experience handling products liability and asbestos cases.
