Trisha Gill

Trisha’s practice focuses primarily on the defense of employers in employment discrimination claims in federal court, state court and administrative agencies. She has litigated numerous claims alleging violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment (ADEA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Whistleblower claims. She has also defended employers in wrongful discharge claims, breach of employment contract (restrictive covenant) claims and claims filed under Pennsylvania’s Wage Payment and Collection law. Trisha also has extensive experience in defending professional liability and general liability claims for personal injuries, catastrophic loss and wrongful death. She has defended municipalities, non-profit organizations, medical practices, real estate agents, banks, landscaping companies, building supply companies, construction companies, contractors and subcontractors, bars and restaurants, HVAC companies, electrical companies, religious institutions, collegiate educational institutions, laboratories, trucking companies, energy companies, manufacturers and product suppliers in claims asserting premises liability, violations of Pennsylvania’s One Call statute, dram shop liability, automobile/ trucking liability, products liability, unfair trade practices, commercial disparagement and defamation. She has tried numerous cases to jury verdict as first chair trial attorney and second chair trial attorney. In addition, Trisha frequently represents clients in alternative dispute resolution proceedings including the American Arbitration Association and private mediation proceedings. She was a finalist in the Donna Jo Morse Moot Court Negotiating Competition and was a 1999 recipient of the CALI Award for Excellence in Federal Income Taxation.
