Larry Turner

Larry L. Turner focuses on employment counseling as well as litigation involving noncompete matters, discrimination, harassment, and wrongful termination claims. Co-leader of the Morgan Lewis Unfair Competition and Trade Secrets Taskforce, he advises clients on restrictive covenants and trade secrets and has served as lead trial counsel in actions to enforce noncompete, nondisclosure, and nonsolicitation agreements. He also co-chairs the firm's Diversity Committee and counsels employers on corporate diversity initiatives, including best practices and litigation avoidance. Larry has tried cases in U.S. state and federal courts involving unfair competition claims; claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, state antidiscrimination laws, and the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA); as well as commercial and catastrophic personal injuries cases. He works extensively with pharmaceutical and medical device companies, as well as companies in the quick service food and financial services industries. A frequent speaker, his topics include enforcing noncompete covenants, independent contractor issues, and avoiding risks associated with diversity programs. Mr. Turner serves on the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine Dean's Council and the Board of Trustees of the Williamson College of the Trades. He is also a member of the American Bar Association, National Bar Association and Philadelphia Bar Association. Mr. Turner is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third and Ninth Circuits, as well as all state and federal courts in Pennsylvania.
