Pamela Krivda

I began my career in the Employee and Labor Relations Department of The Columbus Dispatch. During the early years of my career in human resources , I developed a lasting commitment to management rights and studying the ways in which to improve the employment relationship for the employer. This commitment to management rights to my attending law school specifically to practice law in management-side labor and employment law. I have my dream job, practicing employment and labor law, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, and training executives, managers and supervisors. This has presented me with fascinating opportunities to study human behavior and the psychology of personality which have proven invaluable in assisting in the employment relationship. I also volunteer with several professional and charitable organizations, generally helping out in the area of managing employees or volunteers.My passion is enabling management to benefit from their human resources investment. My assistance to management extends from initial consultation and analysis of issues or employee problems to litigation, arbitration and collective bargaining negotiations.I have more than twenty years' experience representing and defending public and private employers in all aspects of employment and labor relations matters, including defense in harassment, discrimination and other employment-related lawsuits and administrative proceedings; negotiation of collective bargaining agreements and advice on collective bargaining interpretation and application.I regularly advises clients on day-to-day legal and human resource aspects of managing employees. To assist employers in running an effective operation from a human resource perspective, I create and deliver management training programs specifically designed to teach effective employee management within the confines of the law.
