Cassandra Rice

Cassandra's practice focuses on the small business client. From formation to succession planning, her clients use Cassandra as their ex-officio general counsel for matters small and large. This includes assisting with questions related to employees, real estate transactions, settling small disputes, and helping the business plan for future growth and tax consequences. Cassandra also guides her clients through the estate planning process. Whether it be small and simple, or a taxable estate, Cassandra is well prepared to assist her clients with making tough decisions about their families in the eventuality of death. And when her clients are faced with difficult challenges related to competency and inheritance, Cassandra uses her knowledge of an effective estate plan to litigate disputes concerning trusts, beneficiary designations, financial accountings, and powers of attorney. She has previously represented a number of fiduciaries, in their appointed capacities, to defend against actions brought by disgruntled beneficiaries.
