Erin Brueche

Erin Brueche is a Partner in the Family and Matrimonial Practice Group and a New Jersey Supreme Court–designated Certified Matrimonial Attorney, a distinction held by a limited number of attorneys statewide. She concentrates her practice exclusively in divorce and family law and is recognized for her experience handling complex matrimonial matters throughout New Jersey. Erin represents clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody and parenting time, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, prenuptial and premarital agreements, and post-judgment litigation. She develops practical, goal-oriented strategies tailored to each client’s circumstances and is known for combining strong courtroom advocacy with a focus on efficient, respectful resolution whenever possible. In addition to litigation, Erin serves as a divorce and family law mediator, helping individuals and families resolve disputes through mediation, negotiated settlement, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. She regularly assists parties in reaching fair and workable agreements regarding custody, parenting schedules, support, and division of assets, allowing them to maintain greater control over the outcome while minimizing the emotional and financial cost of litigation. Erin has dedicated her entire legal career to family law. She previously served as judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas H. Dilts (Ret.), former Presiding Judge of the Somerset County Family Part, where she gained extensive experience in divorce, custody, and related family matters. She is active in the legal community and frequently serves as a panelist in the Somerset County Early Settlement Program. Erin is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Family Law Section, and regularly lectures on divorce and family law topics. She has been quoted in Divorce Magazine and has appeared on television as a legal commentator on family law issues, including as host of RVN TV’s Legal Breakdown. Erin earned her undergraduate degree from The Pennsylvania State University and her law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
