Stilianos Cambilis

I am an Associate in the Family and Matrimonial Practice Group at Einhorn Barbarito, where I represent clients in complex family law matters, including divorce proceedings involving significant assets, business interests, and sensitive financial issues. With strategic judgment, discretion, and careful preparation, I work closely with each client to develop practical strategies tailored to their personal, professional, and financial priorities. My practice includes matters involving equitable distribution, alimony, child support, and other contested financial issues. I also litigate child custody and parenting time disputes, including modification and enforcement applications, and handle non-dissolution family matters involving custody and support. I regularly appear in post-judgment proceedings and motion practice addressing emergent relief, discovery disputes, and other substantive family law issues. I also have experience representing clients in criminal defense matters, civil litigation, and appeals. This broader litigation background informs my approach to family law disputes and strengthens my advocacy when matters involve complex legal or procedural issues. I am active in the Greek Orthodox community and regularly assist individuals, families, and churches within the community, earning the trust of clients who value both discretion and a strong sense of personal connection. Before entering private practice, I served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Hany A. Mawla in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. I have been recognized in the New Jersey Rising Stars list since 2021 and in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America since 2023 for Family Law and Municipal Law.
