About Edward Kelleher

Ed serves as General Counsel to the firm. Also a member of Archer’s Business Litigation Group, he represents a diverse client base in cases that typically involve arbitration, mediation and litigation of all sizes and levels of complexity. Ed also provides pre-litigation advice and strategies to clients on various ways to resolve disputes and reduce the risk of lawsuits. Serving as a trusted adviser to his clients, Ed is dedicated to understanding their company as well as committed to their long-term growth. He enjoys employing a problem-solving approach to find tactics that work for their entire business, not just the particular legal problem the client is currently facing. Always tailoring his strategy to his clients’ specific needs, Ed relies on clear and prompt communication to explain the litigation process in a straight-forward manner, and to develop a plan that uses creative and unique strategies to achieve successful results. Knowing no two cases are the same, Ed likes to offer clients a variety of options to consider so that they can make informed decisions that best fit their situation. Throughout the process, Ed keeps his clients’ focus on the future to help their businesses continue to move forward. As a founding member of Archer’s Trade Secret Protection and Non-Compete Group, Ed has both prosecuted and defended claims involving all aspects of restrictive covenants and related contractual issues. In a variety of other contexts and areas of law, Ed has defended clients against professional malpractice actions, tortious interference allegations, breach of express and implied warranty claims, motor vehicle sales practice issues, repair and service contract claims, telecommunications, violations of home improvement contractor regulations, and contractor and material supplier disputes. One of the other primary areas Ed focuses his practice on is commercial collections. He represents both creditors and debtors in a variety of areas, including accounts receivable, book accounts, promissory notes, construction liens, bond claims, liquidated damages, professional services, personal guaranty and individual liability issues, successor liability, fraudulent transfers, enforcement of foreign judgments, wage garnishments, bank levies, post-judgment execution, and UCC issues for both sellers and buyers of goods.
