My practice focuses solving client problems in three distinct areas of law: (1) Estate Planning and Probate; (2) Business and Corporate Law; and (3) Litigation and Dispute Resolution related to those practice areas. I craft Estate Plans to address the certainty of death, the real potential for incapacity, and other client concerns and risks, including the needs of business owners. I also advise clients on the administration of Trusts and Decedent's Estates. My practice includes Wills and Trusts, including for more complicated circumstances and family situations, as well as Financial and Medical Powers of Attorney. I serve as outside general counsel to privately owned businesses in the Carolinas, focusing on identifying and proactively meeting my business clients' legal risks so that they can grow, run, and protect their companies in the complex modern legal environment. My business clients include privately held businesses, business owners, investors, and entrepreneurs.
