Joan Davis

One of the owners of Howard, Stallings, From, Atkins, Angell & Davis, P.A., Joan is one of the firm's senior litigators, who for over 30 years has focused her practice on land condemnation, complex commercial and real estate litigation. Joan represents a number of real estate developers, shopping centers, and homeowners' associations, and serves as regional eminent domain and condemnation counsel for Walgreens, Harris Teeter, McDonald's, Rite Aid and Eckerd Corporations. She also represents regional banking interests in real estate matters, complicated loan restructuring and complex bankruptcy matters. She has a wide range of experience in federal district court, bankruptcy court, and the state courts of North Carolina and throughout the southeast.
