As a litigator I strive to come up with creative solutions that maximize benefits to clients while mitigating risk. I understand that "winning" is a relative term when it comes to positive outcomes in litigation and that sometimes the solution is to find common ground and clear the air of animosity and bravado. Sometimes to truly "win" for your client you need to help them see the other side and have compassion. Managing your client is just as important as managing the case. Often the source of conflict is not in their wallets, but in their hearts and pride. Sometimes to win, you must diffuse the hostility and allow each party to walk away feeling like the results are fair. But when that is not possible, I am willing and able to put together a rock solid argument supported by evidence, testimony, case law, science, and common sense. I can connect to a jury's humanity and guide them into seeing the facts through my clients eyes. I value having an amicable relationship with opposing counsel whenever possible and developing relationships with ADAs, Judges, and court house staff. I am interested in exploring a variety of different job environments and leveraging the numerous skills I have developed as a litigator to advance whatever goals need to be achieved. As a Wildlife Photographer, I have spent nearly 10000 hours in the field in various wild environments across The Carolinas, photographing a large majority of the native species of Mammals, Birds, Reptiles, and Amphibians, including 18 individual Critically Endangered Red Wolves.
