Brian Moore

I enjoy working with individual clients…one on one and face to face. Helping my clients solve issues that directly impacts them makes my practice fulfilling. Whether it is helping an executive negotiate a new employment agreement or working with an HOA Board on the difficult issues they face when dealing with their neighbors, my goal is to listen, carefully examine the issues, and work towards the best solution for my clients. I often assist executives with negotiating compensation agreements as well as advise management on legal issues regarding personnel policies. Understanding both sides of the issue benefits my clients. I am frequently called upon to represent executives with respect to severance disputes and non-competition agreements. With over sixteen years of experience in resolving discrimination claims, actions under the FMLA and Wage and Hour Act, I have the expertise needed to find positive solutions for my clients. I also have extensive experience in the area of real estate litigation having served as counsel for several national shopping center owners. My representation has involved appearing in courts throughout the state on behalf of landlords needing assistance with evictions, rent collections and lease disputes. I further routinely assist property management companies and homeowners associations with collections and compliance with the Planned Community Act. I am a 1999 magna cum laude graduate of the Campbell University School of Law, and I received my undergraduate degree from the UNC-Chapel Hill. While at Campbell, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review. I enjoy time with my family, running, gardening and watching my son compete in skateboarding competitions.
