About Shane Cantin
I am a partner at Cantin Mynarich LLC working with Erica Mynarich. I have been in private practice in southwest Missouri for going on 28 years representing and defending clients in state and federal courts throughout the Western District of Missouri from traffic matters to serious felony cases involving allegations such as assault, robbery, drug distribution and conspiracy, sexual offenses, homicide, and firearm related offenses. My trial practice includes representing clients from the beginnings of a law enforcement investigation through an eventual jury trial if necessary. For 27 years I have been a Criminal Justice Act panel attorney accepting appointments to defend clients In the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, and I am one of only a very small number of lawyers in southwest Missouri qualified as learned counsel in the defense of death penalty prosecutions.
