About Kathryn Alsobrook
Kathryn T. Alsobrook is an attorney with Dysart Taylor. Katy practices in the area of labor and employment, insurance defense, and litigation. Prior to entering the civil world, she was a criminal prosecutor, in the Special Victims Unit of the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office in Kansas City, Missouri, and the Caldwell County District Attorney’s Office in Lockhart, Texas. Katy is skilled at handling all phases of pretrial litigation, including motions practice and discovery. With over 40 jury trials in Texas and Missouri, many of them serving as first chair, she is adept at handling witness preparation, jury selection, and examination of lay and expert witnesses. Katy received degrees in History and Political Science at the University of Kansas. She attended St. Mary’s School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, where she received a Pro Bono Service Certificate for her dedication to community and pro bono legal services, participated in and placed in the Board of Advocates Negotiations Competition, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and was named to the Dean’s list.
