I am a trial attorney experienced in both state and federal courts. I engage in civil litigation in Missouri and Illinois, with an emphasis on insurance defense, commercial litigation, premises liability, product liability, construction, vehicular negligence matters and personal injury work. I also actively engage in transportation related matters that include interstate and intrastate issues, and cargo, breach of contract and casualty claims. I am a past Chair of the USLAW Network's Transportation Practice Group. I am also the Chair Emeritus of the USLAW Network. I am also the current Chair of Lashly & Baer's Litigation Practice Group. I have received favorable judgments for numerous trials conducted in the St. Louis metropolitan area, including St. Louis City. I have been selected for inclusion in Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers in multiple years, most recently in 2024. Also, as published by Super Lawyers Magazine, I have been chosen as one of the top 50 lawyers in St. Louis based upon peer recognition and personal achievement, in multiple years. In 2024, he was selected by his peers for inclusion to The Best Lawyers in America® lists in the field of Litigation-Insurance. I am AV rated with Martindale-Hubbell, and earned my J.D. from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law. I am also a court approved mediator for the Missouri state courts and am licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois.
