PRACTICE FOCUS: Mr. Seltzer is an experienced trial and appellate advocate and his civil litigation practice emphasizes the litigation of legal malpractice professional liability related matters in federal and state courts. For over 40 years, Mr. Seltzer has focused his practice on professional liability defense, primarily on representing lawyers and lawyers’ professional liability insurers in civil litigation matters. Mr. Seltzer is also currently involved in prosecuting legal malpractice cases and representing complaining parties and lawyers in professional disciplinary proceedings before the Attorney Grievance Commission. His extensive experience as a trial lawyer, combined with his concentration in the law governing the liabilities and responsibilities of lawyers, has enabled him to both counsel and litigate cases prosecuting and defending lawyers.
