About Seth Arthur
I am an environmental and renewable energy attorney at Varnum, LLP in the Grand Rapids, Michigan office. A large portion of my practice involves working with renewable energy developers to get their projects approved here in Michigan, including through the land use permitting process. That work will continue under Michigan's new state siting law (PA 233), which allows utility-scale developers to seek permitting from Michigan's Public Service Commission. I also help clients comply with other state and federal environmental laws, including wetland regulations, Part 201/CERCLA laws, and other requirements of Michigan's Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Act. In 2017 I graduated from Michigan State University College of Law. I graduated in 2014 with a B.A. in political science, with a focus in American Politics, from Saint Joseph's College (IN). I played NCAA Division II Tennis for Saint Joseph's College (IN).
