Nathan Bresee

Nathan Bresee is a Director at Jackson & Campbell, P.C., where he co-chairs the Firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. His practice focuses on complex real estate and title litigation, with a particular emphasis on community association law. Nathan represents and advises condominiums and cooperatives throughout Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia, providing legal counsel on a wide range of matters, including fiduciary duties, governance best practices, compliance with bylaws, and interpretation of governing documents. In addition to his work with community associations, Nathan advises managers, boards, and owners—ranging from regional to national apartment managers and owners—on development, transactions, legislative advocacy, litigation, and property management. He is an active delegate in the Community Associations Institute DC Legislative Action Committee and the American Land Title Association Title Counsel Committee, where he advocates for policies and regulations that shape the real estate and community association industries. Nathan frequently presents lectures and continuing legal education programs for real estate attorneys and title professionals, including for the DC Apartment & Office Building Association, The District of Columbia Bar, and national title insurance companies. He also served two terms as Chair of The District of Columbia Bar’s Real Estate, Housing, and Land Use Section. Nathan earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007. He was included in the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in America for his exceptional work in Real Estate Law and has been consistently recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
