About Jennifer McKinnon
Jennifer McKinnon is an experienced trial lawyer and partner at Wiesner McKinnon LLP specializing in criminal defense and civil rights litigation. Previously, she was a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Law School’s Criminal Justice Institute. Ms. McKinnon has also served as faculty at the nationally-recognized Trial Advocacy Workshop. Before teaching at Harvard Law School, Ms. McKinnon spent a decade representing clients charged with major felonies for the Committee for Public Counsel Services. In the present legal culture dominated by settlements in civil cases and plea bargains in criminal cases, Ms. McKinnon’s experience and training distinguishes her from many lawyers who rarely, if ever, bring cases to trial—providing a distinct advantage to her clients.
