Erica Redmond

I began my legal career with the intention of becoming a business law attorney, as I had received a Business Management Degree. However, while still in law school, fate stepped in and I was placed at the Department of Social Services, Legal Division. I assisted lawyers in defending the social workers who had removed children from homes. It was an eye opening and career changing experience. I witnessed children in horrific situations and wanted to help protect them. I realized that I would not be satisfied dealing with just business transactions and didn’t feel that I would be able to impact people as much in that capacity. I had the fortuitous opportunity to work at Frame & Frame, LLC as a law clerk after my experience at DSS. After I graduated from law school, I became engaged to my wonderful husband, Arthur and, at the same time, I left Frame & Frame, LLC to work as a contract paralegal with the US Attorney’s Office in the civil litigation department. Shortly thereafter, I became pregnant with my first child and while in the hospital, I was attended by a lovely nurse, who looked familiar. We soon realized that I had placed her in an administrative role at a hospital and from there she went to nursing school, all because I had helped give her that opportunity. From that interaction and the birth of my daughter, I decided that it was time for me to become an attorney that created the same type of positive impact for my clients and to set an example for and make my daughter proud. Happily, I was invited back to work at Frame & Frame, LLC as an associate attorney and I am pleased to assist our clients with family law, personal injury, and estate planning. I feel energized every day from my interactions with our clients and I strive to make their day a bit brighter from having interacted with me. While nothing is ever guaranteed in the legal world, I endeavor to work hard on each case.
