About Jacob Colonna
Litigation-based attorney with a wide range of experience in litigation in the areas of Criminal (misdemeanor and felony), Civil (representing plaintiffs and defendants), Mass Tort, Family, Collections, and Business litigation. Practice experience primarily in Southwest Louisiana (Calcasieu, Beauregard, and Lafayette parishes). I have participated in cases in all corners of Louisiana, and in both district, appellate, and federal courts. Most lawyers today concentrate in a select few areas or a specific aspect of the representation, however my hands-on approach and wide experience has given me experience in all litigation-related areas (including research/writing, oral arguments, discovery, and both civil and jury trials). My wide-ranging practice areas, as well as my actual courtroom experience, has allowed me to develop efficient and creative ways to represent my clients.
