I enjoy trial work, litigation and serving Indiana's Hispanic community. I am a CERTIFIED MEDIATOR in Indiana. As a deputy prosecutor in Indianapolis, I tried many jury trials and worked up to a position in a major felony court. My bar admissions include the Indiana Supreme Court, United States District Court, Northern District of Indiana, the United States District Court, Southern District of Indiana and the Seventh Circuit United States Court of Appeals. I enthusiastically support La Plaza, a non profit community service organization serving central Indiana's Hispanic community. As a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, I graduated from its Bar Leader Series program and acted as the 2007 chairperson for the Series. Through the Indianapolis Bar Association, I worked with the local food bank Second Helpings and have devoted considerable time supporting the local community with pro bono legal work. I speak Spanish and work regularly with Hispanic clients and businesses. I have experience mediating cases with Spanish speaking parties, thereby reducing translation time during the process.
