Jessica Heiser

Jessica Heiser is an education attorney, employment attorney, and certified diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice (DEIJ) practitioner, dedicating her career to building more inclusive school environments.Jessica currently serves as a Supervising Attorney and the Education Team Leader for Minnesota Disability Law Center, part of Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. In this role, she leads a team of attorneys and legal advocates focused on intersectional education advocacy to advance the dignity, self-determination, and equality of children with disabilities.She is also the founder and lead attorney at Imprint Legal Group, a boutique law & consulting firm focused on combining legal compliance and inclusive practices for organizations nationwide. Imprint Legal Group is particularly sought for expertise in sexual harassment, racial issues, disability and special education, disruptive leadership, and Title IX and LGBTQIA+ issues. Prior to founding Imprint Legal Group, Jessica served as general and special counsel for schools and businesses as a partner attorney at Church Church Hittle & Antrim in Noblesville, Indiana for ten years. She practiced education and school law, employment law, municipal law, and led the largest school law team in Indiana.Jessica began her career in teaching middle and high school students in Los Angeles and St. Louis, which prepared her for a career in dynamic public speaking. She further served children and educators during her leadership of a public-private initiative to raise graduation rates in high schools at the Indy Chamber, as well as Centro Romero, Legal Aid Chicago, and the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR). Jessica holds a J.D. and Certificate in International Law from DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, a Master's Certificate in Leading Equity and Change in Organizations from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and a B.A. with Honors from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
