Paul Sweeney

In the course of Mr. Sweeney's legal experience he has had numerous bench and jury trials in state (Indiana, New Mexico and West Virginia) and federal (Indiana and Colorado) courts and has assisted clients in all facets of litigation through the United States, including factual investigations, dispositive motions, settlement negotiations, arbitration and mediation. Mr. Sweeney has substantial experience in representing employers in wrongful discharge lawsuits and employment discrimination investigations by the EEOC, including claims of sexual harassment, sex discrimination, age discrimination, disability discrimination and various wage and hour violations. Mr. Sweeney holds an "AV Preeminent" from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Sweeney is admitted to practice law in Indiana, the United States District Courts for Colorado as well as the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana, the Seventh and Tenth Circuit Courts of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Indiana and Indianapolis Bar Associations, Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana and the Defense Research Institute. Mr. Sweeney focuses his practice of law in the areas of litigation of employment contracts, complex wage and hour law issues, employment discrimination claims, and personnel policies. Mr. Sweeney is also experienced with the arbitration of employment related disputes in the labor/Union setting.
