Michelle Scott

I have built a 30 year legal career helping people in the courtroom as a lawyer and judge. My current law practice focuses on employment discrimination and other civil legal cases. My goal is to help people resolve disputes early. I often represent clients with difficult fact patterns and I have been able to resolve the matter with a successful outcome and settlement. I focus my time on my family and enjoy a lifelong passion for photography, following sports and movies, family caregiving, and encouraging others. My daily work includes a legal practice and also spending time on public school and youth development events, especially PTA. I am the former president of a daycare board and PTA board at my daughter's school. I want to do as much as I can to have a positive impact on others around me. When I look at my career and life, I think of a favorite quote from A Christmas Carol: "Mankind was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, and benevolence, were, all, my business. The deals of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business." I truly hope that I can help others on any level and focus on more joy and kindness along the way.
