Matthew Bernstein

I am a library and information science professional in transition, with over 30 years of experience in immigration law, assisting businesses and families through complex immigration law matters. Since 1993, my work has centered on advanced legal research, information analysis, and the organization and communication of highly technical information. I am currently pursuing a Master of Library and Information Science (expected graduation-December 2026) where I am deepening my expertise in reference services, information organization, metadata, and user-centered information systems. I am particularly interested in roles that value rigorous research skills, clear communication, and a strong commitment to public service. I am seeking opportunities in libraries or information-focused organizations where I can apply my research background while continuing to grow as an information professional.
