Over 15 years experience in immigration law representing individual and business clients locally in Illinois and world-wide. Mediating conflicts by appointment at my Chicago office and DuPage office in Wheaton. Representing clients in contested divorce and related litigation, including dissolution of civil union; family law negotiations and immigration matters in Cook and DuPage Counties (see locations above). Preparing prenuptial (premarital) and postnuptial agreements. All stages of pension/retirement plan division by Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDRO) and Qualified Illinois Domestic Relations Order (QILDRO): drafting and having the QDRO/QILDRO pre-approved; hearings/legal argument on interpretation of plan division language in the Judgment, and resulting appeals; advising attorneys regarding same. Tom is a court approved Guardian Ad Litem/Child Representative, and former court approved custody/visitation Mediator. Tom resides in Evanston, with his wife and three children.
