About Benjamin Lawson
I'm an attorney clerking for the Honorable William E. Holdridge, an appellate justice in the Third District Appellate Court in Illinois. I draft dispositions for criminal and civil appeals on a wide range of subjects. Prior to clerking, I ran a two-man law firm in Kankakee for nearly a decade. I also worked as a part-time public defender during that time. I've been active in the Illinois State Bar Association, and I'm currently on the editorial board for the Illinois Bar Journal.
