First off, I love what I do. I lead a team of six attorneys as well as having of counsel, Alexandra Martinez with our firm and our emphasis is family law as that is what started this law firm. However, we are expanding other areas. Estate planning, civil litigation, and Real Estate are what we do. I limit my focus to family law. I am a trial attorney in family law and a believer in settled resolutions through mediation and collaboration. I am a certified Mediator through Northwestern University School of Law. I am also certified as a Guardian Ad Litem. I love all things family law and have truly found my calling. I am a father of a very special little girl and I would do anything for her. I know the love of a parent and child. I want to restore that. I want to make sure kids are in a safe and nurturing environment. I want to craft fair resolutions. I will go to trial if necessary. I love my alma maters, Northern Illinois University for my B.S. in political science and the University of Miami, (FL) for Law School. Yes Florida, not Ohio. I am a proud Hurricane and a proud Huskie! I love to teach. My attorneys and paralegals under me have become better than when I met them. I am also a man of faith and my ethics are rooted in the belief that I will have to answer for all things I do in this lifetime.
